Pastor Tolu,
Hum! We lost a Gem!
To me is still like a dream that you have left us so soon and this is why is difficult for me to write a tribute. You are such a humble, gentle and friendly person, your devotion to church music and God’s kingdom is extra ordinary, your smile always warms our hearts even when we make mistakes in Central and Ministers choir rehearsals, you always gave us TomTom Sweet to clear our throats and keep encouraging us. On different occasions you and your lovely wife will picked me at my home to attend service whenever LDCC is having combined program and dropped back at home.
I am grateful for your kind gesture and thank you sir for raising donations with other members to purchase ORGAN for CAC Headquarters Great Britain, thank you for your simplicity approach to life, thanks for always willing to assist others and for your selfless dedication towards body of Christ. I will miss you greatly in ministers choir and LDCC.
Adieu, Adieu, Adieu, Pastor Tolu.

Uncle Tolu,
A man of integrity, impact, always smiling and full of life. When I relocated to the UK, he helped me settle quickly especially with my career.
He wanted everyone around him to do well. He made sure I didn’t feel alone by inviting me to his family gatherings and treated me like his own niece.
He will be remembered for his legacy. Forever in my heart.

Hmmmm Mr. Tolu Mogaji, my brother, my friend, my boss.
Tears are pouring down my eyes as I write this tribute. When I heard of your passing yesterday my heart almost jumped out of my chest. I shouted as if I was going crazy.
I don’t know where to start from Mr. Mogaji; It’s really difficult for me right now to put my thoughts together. You were my brother from another parents. We met for the first time in 1990 at Epe Plywood where I was posted for my NYSC. From the second you set your eyes on me you treated me like family. You and I became very close, we did many things together, we traveled to places together including your family house at Akure. You invited me again to join you at Ebun Industries where you were my direct boss until you left to join another company. You also invited me to join you in the UK in 2005 but I decided to move to the United States. You thought me so many things and advised me on so many issues. You were always there for me.
I wish your death was just a rumor, it’s really saddening that it’s actually true.
You were specifically created by God; you knew God and you served him so well.
May the good Lord that you served so well grant you eternal rest Mr. Tolu Mogaji (my beloved brother)

You were God's gift to everyone that is priviledged to know you, because you had some spiritual gifts to impact to make one useful for Christ. You taught us in the Ministers Choir which is held once a year with love and humility. You are so gifted with the tunes and you assisted us to put in our best for God's glory. You will buy tomtom ( a kind of mentol sweet fro Nigeria) to make our voices better and encouraged everyone.
When I read of your demise, I thought within me, 'How can he die with all these gifts?' Only God knows why.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
May God comfort his wife and children and the entire family in Jesus name. Amen

Dear Sir
I don’t know what to say as l still can’t believe that l will not see that smiling face or hear your voice next door.
I am very grateful that you invited me to your Church service online during COVID lockdown. You straight away involved me in the scriptures reading and during morning devotion to do the exhortation.
I am grateful to have know you.
Thank you Sir
Sister Nana and family.

We never saw each other occasionally due to the distance between us. He never complained about not hearing from you. Whenever we talked to each other, it was like we just had a conversation yesterday. We met in 1980, and the friendship that we started then grew stronger and stronger every year. I thought of bringing up the idea of a “family of college boys” re-union, but you were called home before we had the opportunity to discuss that idea. Tolu meant a lot to all of us, and he would be dearly missed. I cried whenever I remembered the fun memories of our college days, but there’s not enough tears that will bring you back. I will miss you and the rest of the “boys” will surely miss you. Rest in peace my brother!
Pastor Tolu Mogaji, the news of your passing came as a shock. Your entire life was a great inspiration to many who knew you.
May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. May the Lord comfort and encourage all the brethren and the entire family.

Pastor Tolu was a vibrant and a prolific hymm singer. You cannot fault his love for God and hymns as this was always evident whereever you see him and whereever we congregate as a Church. His exceptional sonorous voice and well ariculated coordination skills for hymns and inspirational songs of "igbani" is diifficult to match. The vacuum that his demise created can only be fillled by the grace of God.
Truely, we have lost a gem in CAC and in the body of Christ at large. His kind is very rare. I will always remember his outstanding leadership sklils he always demonstrated in many things we have done together.
He was not just a good leader but a good follower per excellence, he always put his best dedication and commitment to any assignment and project committed to his hands by the authourity.
Your loving and good memories will forever lin ger on our minds.
Rest on the bossom of Christ, a good soldier of Christ. You came, you fought and you conquered.
Grace of God will abide with the family and Church of God you left behind.
Goodnight Pastor Tolu till we meet on the resurection day.

Pastor Tolu Mogagi was a truly visionary leader whose profound influence left an indelible mark on the lives of all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
His thoughtful demeanour, coupled with his innate kindness, generosity, and empathy, defined him as an extraordinary individual. For many years, he not only established but also passionately led the central choir, showcasing his unwavering commitment to music, particularly within the realm of Christian worship.
His fervour for music led him to collaborate with a wide array of talented musicians and vocalists. Pastor Tolu even took the remarkable initiative to engage with the BBC, successfully orchestrating the central choir's participation in several esteemed Songs of Praise programs. His vision was to have these uplifting programs recorded within a CAC church setting, yet he faced a setback due to the absence of an organ in our church.
This challenge ignited a spark of inspiration within him, ultimately leading him to generously donate an organ to the church in celebration of his 60th birthday—a testament to his dedication and love for the community.
Even after gracefully passing the leadership baton to the current choir leader, Pastor Tolu's passion for both music and people ensured that he remained a vital part of the central choir. His exceptional organizational skills were unmatched, and he embodied the ideals of hard work, family devotion, and outstanding leadership. A man of myriad talents and profound wisdom, Pastor Tolu truly stood out as a unique individual whose early departure has left a significant void in our hearts and lives.
While words may struggle to fully capture the extent of his contributions and the essence of his being, we find solace in the comforting belief that he is now rejoicing in the presence of the saints above, engaging in the work he cherished most. Rest peacefully, dear Pastor Tolu Mogagi, until the day we are reunited once more.
With heartfelt affection,
From your devoted central choir.

In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Pastor
We remember a remarkable servant of God, Pastor Tolu Mogaji who has been called to glory.
You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.
Through music you touched lives in ways that words can hardly capture. Yours was an example of selfless dedication to the work God called you to do.
It did not matter whether people turned up or not to the countless number of concerts you put on, your focus on the Lord never wavered.
You were just as committed, whether there were a hundred people or one person present.
With humility and grace, you discharged the duty God placed in your capable hands.
You have fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Now, you rest in the arms of the Lord you so faithfully served.
While we will miss your earthly presence, we rejoice in the assurance that you are now in glory, where there is no pain, no tears, only eternal joy in the presence of our Saviour.
Your legacy lives on in the countless lives you touched and the love you so freely gave.
Thank you for the gift of music—it was, undoubtedly a great blessing to those who knew.
Rest in peace, dear Pastor Tolu. Until we meet again.

It is with a deep sense of loss that I share this tribute in memory of my age long friend, colleague and brother Pst Tolu Isaac Mogaji whose sudden transition has left me devastated.
Pst Tolu and I came into first contact 1980 whilst schooling at the then Polytechnic Owo, Ondo State Nigeria. We had gained admission into the then school of Business Management and Accountancy studies.
We became instant friends along with other friends with whom we shared bonding and aspirations as young men then.
His acronym, ITEM became popular with him in school particularly because of his flair and early mastery of accounting and its related skills. It was, therefore, not a surprise that he qualified as a chartered accountant ahead of his peers and distinguished himself in his professional career.
As we grew, the relationship blossomed transcending our academic and professional pursuits to our families and social life.
His marriage to his dearly beloved wife Foluke, an indigene of my native township of Ondo, further consolidated our friendship.
He would subsequently humorously acknowledge me as ‘egin mi’ (meaning my senior brother, my in-law) whilst I complimented with ‘ana mi, ore mi stats’ (my in-law my friend indeed)
Pst Tolu exemplified gentleness, kindness, humility, compassion, level-headedness, discipline and forthrightness. He would maintain his calmness and remained organized in every trying situation.
A caring friend whose loyalty and commitment to friendship was unparalleled, he maintained unbroken contacts with his carefully selected friends and their families notwithstanding geographical distances.
Every time my family visited London, he reached out to me to ensure our well being.
He never visited Nigeria without touching base with me and the family also. On what has turned to be his last visit, we were privileged to host him and see him off at the airport on his return journey back to London oblivious that was to be the last time I would see him.
He probably had premonitions of his home call.
I had asked him to hold on to a parcel he collected on my behalf until I visited London to pick it up. He insisted on having it delivered to me as soon as he found someone coming to Nigeria. He did as though he was conscious of time.
Pst Tolu was a passionate lover of Christ whose commitment and lifestyle was a great inspiration to everyone around him.
His weekly radio and online outreach programs exemplified his love and commitment to spreading the gospel.
I couldn’t really recollect any of our conversations not concluding with the sharing of the gospel, his music ministrations and prayers.
Tolu will be dearly missed but it is consoling that this huge loss is heaven’s great gain.
Adieu Tolu as you rest on in the bosom of the Lord

TRIBUTE TO PASTOR TOLU ISAAC MOGAJI
When my dear cousin Foluke asked if I could write a tribute on behalf of the Awosika, there was no hesitation. Especially how I felt about Pastor Tolu and how he was much more to us than just a brother-in-law, and we loved him very much.
I remembered when Uncle, Pastor Femi Mogaji, the wife, and my dear Nifemi first came to our house when they newly arrived in the United Kingdom. Due to the fact that our relationship started from Nigeria. There then, he told us that his immediate junior brother, Pastor Tolu, is married to Awosika. I asked for his number to reach out to them.
When I made a call to them, to my surprise, someone who had never seen me before was so warmly with his greeting and displayed a total humorous attitude. We laughed throughout our conversations. That was it. Ever since then, whenever we came across each other on any occasions, he always came to say, "Moni kin wa kiyin ni, sir, ki ẹ ma bā gba iyawo mi". We were always happier in the company of each other, especially during any of the Mogajis events.
After that, I remember him as an ever jovial fellow, who everyone in the Awosika family knew as very friendly and respectful during our family get-together night. He was very popular, free-spirited, and full of fun on that day. Your memory will live in our hearts forever.
There is obviously many definitions of a great man, but to the body of Christ and everyone who knew him, Pastor Tolu was a great man of God, brother in law indeed, and friend of all. We can tell what he meant to everyone in his personal life and at God's mission. It is time that we celebrate his life and what he contributed to the body of Christ and all of us.
He has finally been released from the brief illness that his body had become and finally answered the call to glory. Let us all take comfort that he is now with our Lord.
May the soul of our dear brother-in-law rest in perfect peace. Adieu, Pastor Tolu Isaac Mogaji

A Tribute to My Dear Uncle Tolu
It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute, reflecting on the life of a man who meant so much to us all. Your demise was unexpected, and the pain of losing you has been immense. Yet, even in our sorrow, we give glory to God for a life well spent—a life full of impact and purpose.
Professionally, you were an inspiration. I followed your remarkable journey through your career at Odua, Epe, Ebun, Starmark, and Koinonia. Your dedication, excellence, and integrity were hallmarks of your work, leaving a legacy that will not be forgotten.
As an uncle, you were fun to be with, always accommodating and made every moment spent with you special. I vividly remember the first time I rode in a lift with you in Ebun House; it was an experience that has stayed with me. Your wedding at Oshinle is etched in my memory—the song, the joy, the gathering of family. You always knew how to make family moments unforgettable.
As a choirmaster, you were a beacon of leadership. It was a privilege to be under your musical guidance during Easter Cantatas, Christmas Carols, anniversaries, and even your 60th birthday celebration. Your passion for music, dedication to excellence, and ability to unite voices were truly extraordinary. You inspired us all with your talent and your heart for worship.
As a father, you were a pillar of love and support. You welcomed everyone with open arms and went above and beyond for those around you. You were there for every family milestone, including my children's naming ceremonies, always ready to give of yourself in any way needed. Your love knew no bounds.
As a pastor, you lived out your faith with humility and grace. In London, at Weekend Aways, and at various anniversaries, You led your congregation selflessly, pointing us to the narrow gate and showing us the path to eternal life. Your life reflected Christ’s love, and your passing reminds us to strive for a Christ-like existence.
Uncle Tolu, you lived a life that measured up to the highest standards—not by earthly accolades alone, but by the eternal reward that we are confident you now enjoy. Your place in heaven reassures us of the hope we have in Christ.
Good night, Uncle Tolu. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of all you touched. Until we meet again at the feet of our Savior. Rest in perfect peace.

Goodnight Pastor Tolu
When I broke the news of Pastor Tolu’s death to the members of CAC Great Britain Headquarters, the sense of shock was audible because no one saw the nearness of death in his countenance and demeanour the last time we saw him. He attended several music rehearsals held at the church in the summer and other London District Coordinating Council programmes. During the community hymn singing held in March, two days before his birthday, we had the chance to register our gratitude to him for turning our assembly into hymn-loving congregation. We did not know that it would be our last opportunity to thank him for the beauty he added to our worship.
When our church was being refurbished, he led his assembly, CAC Narrow Gate, to support us prayerfully and financially. His regard for us as the headquarters of CAC churches in the UK and Europe was evident in his insistence that the venue of CAC national or regional programmes must be the Headquarters. Pastor Tolu was considerate, a man of candour, and a servant of Jesus Christ with immeasurable affection for the Christ Apostolic Church.
It is not surprising that it is in the same church which Pastor Tolu beautified with his passion for music that we now render our songs in melody and harmony to bid him goodnight.
Pastor Emmanuel O Tukasi,

When I broke the news of Pastor Tolu’s death to the members of CAC Great Britain Headquarters, the sense of shock was audible because no one saw the nearness of death in his countenance and demeanour the last time we saw him. He attended several music rehearsals held at the church in the summer and other London District Coordinating Council programmes. During the community hymn singing held in March, two days before his birthday, we had the chance to register our gratitude to him for turning our assembly into hymn-loving congregation. We did not know that it would be our last opportunity to thank him for the beauty he added to our worship.

IN HONOUR OF THE LIFE OF PASTOR ISAAC TOLUWASE EKUNDAYO MOGAJI.
2 Cor 5:6-8 “So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
Pastor Tolu, it was a rude shock for us all when the announcement of your departure into glory was made on Wednesday 23 October 2024!
To say the least, we were deeply saddened by Pastor Tolu’s passing, and as we grapple with this enormous loss, we are continuously reflecting on his remarkable contributions to LDCC as our Secretary, CAC Narrow Gate he pastored by the grace of God, and the lives of so many that he touched deeply.
Pastor Tolu as fondly called, generationally and intuitively represented in many ways, the future of Christian ministry. A Pastor with multiple talents, rooted in ideas and doctrines, committed to ensuring that the unvarnished gospel is preached to every generation.
Pastor Tolu understood the dynamics and urgency of reaching the dying world with the light of the gospel. He knew what was important to do and to emphasize and he worked very hard, everywhere, with the zeal and speed of one who knew that we don’t have all day.
As a District Superintendent in CAC with his relative position of privilege, he was deeply and unpretentiously respectful, not just of other senior ministers and those in authority, but of everyone, even his subordinates. Everyone has a story to tell of Pastor Tolu’s warmth, compassion, friendliness, and open displays of affection for others.
We will remember Pastor Tolu for many things he did in that uniquely passionate way in Ministry, especially pioneering the purchase and installation of organ at CAC Great Britain HQ to mark his 60th birthday. He indeed, left a print on the sand of life. We will fondly remember him most as a true child of God, who demonstrated the love of God to all that came across him. We will miss him and his kind, gentle and convivial manner.
We commiserate with his wife, Evang Foluke Mogaji, his precious four big boys, his siblings, family members, the Narrow Gate Church family and the entire Anosike Region. We pray that the Lord will comfort and grant you all the fortitude to bear his sudden departure into glory in Jesus’ name.
And for you Pastor Toluwase, there is no greater joy than to be in the presence of the One that loves you like no one else can.
Now the labourer’s task is over, now the battle-days are past.

A Tribute to “Brother Tolu”
When I first arrived in the country, one of the first people to welcome me warmly was “Brother Tolu.” He didn’t just extend a hand of friendship; he opened a door to a new sense of belonging. He invited me to join the C.A.C. Central Choir (Europe), as it was then known. At the time, I had resolved to distance myself from anything related to C.A.C., but Brother Tolu’s words challenged me in a way I hadn’t expected. “My brother,” he said, “if we all run away, who would bring the change?” That single statement struck a chord deep within me, and it shifted my perspective entirely.
Being new in town, Brother Tolu went above and beyond to help me settle in. He took it upon himself to drive me around, introducing me to people he thought could be of help. He never once complained, no matter how late it was or how long it took. His generosity and selflessness weren’t just actions; they were part of who he was. He was always present, always kind, and always ready to lend a hand.
I had the privilege of seeing his extraordinary ability to connect with people firsthand during my regular appearances on his radio programme. He had an uncanny way of making everyone feel valued and seen. Whether it was through heartfelt prayers or uplifting words of affirmation, he left people better than he found them. One gesture that stays with me is how he created a segment on the show called “Hymns in Motion” just for me. “Your insights are too precious to go to waste,” he would say, and he ensured that I had a platform to share my thoughts.
Our conversations were always profound, and the last one we had—during the “Weekend Away” event—remains particularly meaningful to me. He shared a personal story about a time in his life when he faced uncertainty, standing at a crossroads. Instead of succumbing to worry or indecision, he channelled his energy into helping others. “When you feel lost,” he told me, “sometimes the best way to find yourself is by helping someone else find their way.” Those words not only defined that moment but also who he was—a man of selflessness, deeply committed to serving others.
Pastor Tolu was more than a leader; he was a light to everyone who crossed his path. His organizational skills and his deep love for music were unmatched. Whenever the choir needed a song or arrangement to elevate a service, his “musical brain and library” were invaluable. At one point, I became his piano teacher, though our lessons quickly turned into extended hymn singing sessions. After the first class, every session transformed into “Community Hymn Singing,” with him enthusiastically providing tenor, soprano, and descant parts for every hymn we played. What started as an hour-long lesson often turned into five-hour rehearsals filled with his uncontainable joy for classical pieces. His passion for music was infectious, and time spent with him always felt like a celebration of creativity and faith.
Pastor Tolu’s presence was truly a gift to everyone who had the honour of knowing him, whether as a brother, friend, confidant, leader, or father figure. His impact was deep and lasting, and his legacy will inspire generations to come. Reflecting on the countless lives he touched, it’s clear that his influence is far from over. It lives on in the kindness he inspired, the lives he uplifted, and the hearts he healed. He showed us all that greatness is not about what we achieve for ourselves but about what we give to others.
As I write this, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the blessing of knowing him, his dear wife (Aunty mi) and his great sons (The Gospellers). Pastor Tolu Mogaji wasn’t just a mentor or a pastor; he was a force of nature. He was living proof of the difference one person can make. Though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit remains alive in the lessons he taught and the love he shared so freely.
Pastor Tolu, you will always be missed, but you will never be forgotten. Your legacy of love, kindness, and service lives on in the hearts of those you touched. Rest thee well, dear “Brother Tolu.”

In Loving Memory of Our Dear Uncle
Daddy Tayo, as we fondly called you,
You were a man of unwavering faith, a true example of what it means to live a Christ-like life. Your actions spoke louder than words—welcoming strangers into your home, feeding the hungry, and warming the hearts of those in need. You were the very definition of a brother’s keeper, living out love in its purest form.
Uncle, you were always there for us, no matter the occasion. Whether it was a graduation, a wedding, a baby dedication, or any celebration, you showed up for your family with a heart full of joy and a spirit of encouragement. Despite the demands of your busy life, you made time for us. Your presence was a gift we will cherish forever.
We will remember you as a pillar of strength and kindness, someone who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, offer wise counsel, or simply share a laugh. You were a constant source of support, and your unwavering love left a mark on all our lives.
As we grieve, we pray for Aunty and our cousins. May the Lord, who holds the heavens and the earth, cradle them in His loving hands. May He grant them comfort, peace, and the grace to carry on. We also lift up the entire extended family, praying that God will strengthen and uphold us all during this time of sorrow, binding us together in love and faith as we walk through this season of loss. May we, inspired by your example, run our own races with diligence and faithfulness, striving to honor the legacy you have left behind.
While we miss you deeply, we find hope in the promise of the resurrection, knowing that this is not the end. One day, we will meet again on that glorious day, when Christ returns, and we are reunited in His presence for eternity.
Uncle, your life was a testament to the truth that it’s not the length of our days, but the love and purpose we fill them with that truly matters.
Rest well, our beloved uncle. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
With love,
Oluwatobi & Family (Niece)

Dear Uncle Tolu
This is a moment of immense sadness. But even in this landscape, there is gratitude for a life well lived, a life infused with purpose, an unwavering embrace of a beautiful faith irrespective of place, challenge, or circumstance. I will always remember your calm, your optimism, your love for people, and a generosity that knew no bounds. In this journey of life, it is not about the number of years spent, but the impact made, and lives touched. You touched many. Your ethos will forever walk with us.
Dear Uncle Tolu, my brother-in-law; my sister’s husband; my nephews’ dad; I will always remember you, will never forget.
Rest in peace.

A Tribute to Pastor Isaac Mogagi popularly know as Bro Isaac: A Faithful Servant and Cherished Friend
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our dear friend and brother in Christ, Bro Isaac, who was suddenly called home to the Lord. His passing is a deep loss to all of us, especially to our Christian Fellowship group, where he was not only a prominent member but a pillar of faith and encouragement.
Bro Isaac’s life was a testament to his unwavering faith in God. He walked humbly with the Lord, and his commitment to living out the teachings of Christ was evident in everything he did. Whether leading prayers, sharing insights from Scripture, or offering a word of comfort to those in need, he did so with genuine love and compassion. His dedication to our fellowship was unwavering, and his presence brought warmth and unity to our gatherings.
As a colleague, Bro Isaac was diligent, kind, and ever supportive. He approached his work with integrity and a servant’s heart, always willing to lend a hand or offer guidance. He saw his vocation not just as a job but as a ministry, where he could reflect God’s love and grace in every interaction.
But more than his accomplishments, it was Bro Isaac’s character that left a lasting impact. He was a man of deep humility, quiet strength, and profound wisdom. His faith was not only something he professed but something he lived out daily, inspiring us to draw closer to God and to each other.
Though we grieve his sudden departure, we find comfort in the knowledge that he is now in the presence of the Lord he so faithfully served. We rejoice in the hope of eternal life and the promise that we will see him again in glory.
Bro Isaac, your legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to guide and inspire us. May we honour your memory by striving to live with the same passion for Christ and love for others that you so beautifully demonstrated.
Rest well, dear brother, in the peace of Christ. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Until we meet again.

FAREWELL TOLU MOGAJI
As humans, we naturally moan and groan the departure of Pastor Isaac Toluwase Mogaji to eternity with God for the relative shortness of his sojourn here on earth. However, longevity on earth may not be a true measure of divine success. For example, it seems Tolu had a fair deal in his life of over 60 years compared with that of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola (55years); Matthew Henry (52 years) and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (33 years).
The eternal credit to Tolu is that it seems he had a divine glimpse into his purpose of life and the brevity of his sojourn here on earth. Evidently, Tolu was assiduous and titanic in his labour in the Lord’s vineyard. Besides, he was hospitable, disciplined, humble, accommodating and steadily Christ-focused. The life of Tolu therefore warns we the redeemed of the Lord that the length of time between our labour for Christ and our glorious crown in heaven may be short as shown in the lives of leaders of faith quoted above. Or what is the correlation between longevity of life of humans on earth and divine success?
Therefore, the life of Tolu is a warning to the redeemed to do the work of Christ while it is day for night may come anytime, preventing rendition of any procrastinated service to the Lord. Or make hay while the sun shines!
To Lady Evangelist Foluke Mogaji, the wife of Tolu, we commiserate with you for the sharp separation from your husband and companion and confidant for decades. Yet you have to continue to be good as you were to Tolu and Christ, no matter how repugnant or difficult to flesh and blood! Brace up for the new life and reality and challenges! To Tolu’s gospelers – Mathew, Mark, Luke and John – be manly, be tolerant and make the rest of the journey; heavy as it is, light for Foluke and the rest of Mogaji family. To Pastor Femi Mogaji and his siblings, let brotherly love continue. The peace of the Lord abide forever with you all.

My dear Uncle Tolu (later Daddy Tayo)
It is with a heavy heart that I remember the good times we shared, your smile and your caring heart. Your accommodation is second to none, always ready to do your best in any circumstance you find yourself regardless.
Your tenacity in the things of God and always expressing your thoughts clearly on the things of God, especially in terms of being truthful and faithful to our call as Christians. You live a life worthy of emulation.
I am short of words but I thank God for the life that you lived and that you are now resting in the bosom of our saviour till we meet again.

Daddy!!! Hmmmmm!
Daddy MOGAJI: Simidele, ma be re mi…. (Meaning SIMIDELE, always ask of me)
Me: Daddy, you know I love you. I’m sorry. I will do better.
I wish I could turn back the hands of time to call you just one last time again. I will be willing to call you every minute.
My daddy!!! It is with heavy heart that I am writing this. I still cannot come to terms in accepting that you are no more with us. I find it really hard to understand why it had to be you. We prayed! We hoped! We wished that you will be here with us. But, as God will have it, His will was done.
Daddy MOGAJI, you took me as your daughter without thinking twice. When my biological dad (Pastor Dahunsi) told you about me and handed me over to you to look after me as your daughter, you never hesitated and you sprung into action almost immediately. I remember when you came to pick me all the way from Plumstead to church and all you showed me was pure fatherly love. You were always there for me. You loved me and always wanted the best for me.
You supported all that concerned me even up to my NGO always asking me what the next project would be about helping the less privileged. You had such a large heart and you could give your last penny to help anyone around you that is in need.
Thank you for everything you did for my family at large. Thank you for supporting my biological dad financially even when you never said a word, these kind deeds did not go unnoticed. You were there for everyone around you. Such a selfless man. I will miss you daddy…
Daddy, you were such a brilliant example of a life well lived in Christ each day in a million little ways. Thank you for being such a great pastor, father, and leader, and for being concerned about our spiritual wellbeing. You devoted your life to bringing more souls into the kingdom of God and you were an excellent and forward-thinking church leader. I appreciate how much you consistently go above and beyond with your boundless compassion, sage counsel, and godly example. I am grateful that you were my father and correct me in a loving manner. I appreciate your willingness to listen at all times. I am in amazement of how you were able to balance your hectic schedule and being there for everyone around. Your kind is uncommon, Daddy and you will be irreplaceable.

A TRIBUTE TO OUR DEAR COLLEAGUE AND FRIEND,
PASTOR TOLU MOGAII (ITEM)
OGSA 1974 - 1979 ALUMNI SET
(Chairman 1974 - 1979 Alumni Set, Vice Chairman UK Branch)
Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure Alumni Association has indeed lost a committed and diligent member. Very passionate and supportive to the growth of his Alma Mater. Pastor Tolu Mogaji enlisted as a member of the 1974 intake and graduated in 1979 as the Library Prefect.
His special organizational abilities, leadership traits, and charismatic personality were readily apparent in all that he does.
Pastor ITEM was a special man who showed concern and true love for others. He also distinguished himself as a reliable, accommodating. attested and trusted member of the OGSA Alumni Association Globally. Indeed, he was a peace-loving, God fearing. a reputable person who inspired and impacted lives positively. His conunitment geared towards the developtnent of our Association especially in the UK are deeply appreciated, remarkable, commendable and now historical. He excelled in every assignment entrusted into his care. no wonder he made an indelible mark during the 70th Anniversary of the "Onlv School", he showcased transparency and dedication in his duties and in life generally.
We wish you farewell in your journey to eternity. Pastor ITEM, you will be in our hearts and memories. It was a privilege for us to have been a part of Pastor ITEM’s life. Although much too short for our liking, his was a life well lived!
It's hard to let go of someone so dear to you: more than just a brother, he was a friend. We were not expecting this, and sometimes I feel like this is all just a bad dream.
It is hard to find suitable words to pay a tribute to this truly remarkable man. It is worthy of note that during his life he had the satisfaction of knowing the high esteem in which he was held by his mates and colleagues: as evident during his 60th Birthday ceremony
Our solace is in the fact that he lived a fulfilled and enviable life and above all; he knew and referenced God. Journey well to the world beyond my dear colleague.
Our prayers, are with the entire family. We pray that God Almighty will continue to uphold Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Mogaji. the children and every member of Pastor Tolu Mogaji’s family.
May his gentle soul continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The news of Isaac's passing came as a shock to us all. Isaac joined LBBD finance in June 2017 and soon became a valued member of the team. He was a true gentleman, kind, thoughtful and went the extra mile to support service managers and all his colleagues. He was calm, patient and always put others ahead of himself. Isaac has left a big gap in our team, and we will miss his infectious smile.
Rest in peace Isaac.
Rest in peace Isaac.
With heavy yet grateful hearts, we write this tribute in honor of a truly remarkable man of God, a dear uncle and brother-in-law, Pastor Tolu Mogaji.
Uncle Tolu was more than a family member; he was a pillar of strength and a beacon of light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness knew no bounds, and his love for others testified of his faith in God. He had a sincere desire to see others thrive, always encouraging growth, progress, and fulfillment in those around him.
As a man of God, he wasn't two-faced; he lived his life as a reflection of the teachings he shared. His wisdom, humility, and unwavering commitment to his calling touched countless lives. He was a source of encouragement, a spiritual guide, and a friend to all who needed him, including our family.
Though his physical presence is no longer with us, we take solace in the knowledge that he rests in the Lord. We are comforted by the legacy he left behind—a legacy of love, faith, and a relentless belief in the potential of others.
Rest well, Uncle Tolu, in the arms of the One you served so faithfully. You will forever be cherished, remembered, and loved.

Tolu My dear brother and Pastor as I used to call him was a decent man inside and outside even from childhood. He was a lover of the truth and stood by the truth and for the truth throughout his lifetime.
A disciplined, principled, and devout servant of God highly committed to the calling of God upon him till death.
It is so hard to believe that God can just take Tolu, my kindhearted brother away suddenly like that, thinking we will still be together in the next 20 years if Jesus tarries. But, as stated in Job1::21' 'The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, may the name of the Lord be praised '
I have this consolation that he saw Christ before death. Despite the prayers and all the cares, he submitted to the will of God his Maker who knows what was best for him.
I thank God for the life of my beloved brother though short but well-spent and impactful
May the Lord in His mercy take care of the wife and children in Jesus' name
Let us all get prepared for the second coming of our Lord Jesus or we may be called home anytime we least expected. May we not miss heaven, that glorious city where there is no pain, no hustling, where we will all be singing with the angels at last in Jesus' name.
This world is not our own, we are just here briefly to play our part and leave the stage when it is time.
Let us act well while on the stage. Don't misuse the grace of God. May the door of mercy not be shut against us in Jesus' name.

My Tribute to Pastor Tolu, My Pillar and Backbone
by Dr Peter Kehinde Mogaji
My brother, Pastor Tolu, you came, we lived together for decades, but suddenly, you left us to glory. Yes, your death was devastating, yet I have to come up with my tribute to your despite the difficulty caused by my ‘heavy heart’ in putting together such tribute.
In my heart, you will forever be loved and cherished for those ‘saving love and care’ you demonstrated in my life (and in the lives of other siblings and others) while you were with us. Your attitude towards our lives as siblings were those of care and affection. You would always want to us live our lives suffering-free by connecting us with the right people within appropriate atmosphere towards achieving our life goals within our chosen careers. In your show of care, I always remember the day you asked me in the early 1990s: ‘What’s Taye doing in Akure? He should come to Lagos even if it would cause us all living together, drinking gari’. Taking after our father’s (Pastor MD Mogaji’s) large heartedness, benevolence and generosity towards everyone, you provided and supported us all (Brother Femi, Taye, Kehinde, Idowu and Alaba) with initial long-term temporary accommodation, living with you in Ibadan (Old-Ife Road, Ajeigbe Bus-Stop in Challenge area) and in Lagos (Iju, idimu and Ketu) despite further associated costs.
Creating atmosphere of fun among us your younger siblings within Pastor MD Mogaji’s household in those early 1970s days, you formed our ‘family military unit’ you tagged as the ‘3rd Marine Commando’ (probably taken after a Nigerian Civil War unit led by Colonel Bejamin Adekunle). As our ‘military unit head’, you, ‘Field Marshall Atole Mambo’ led us in our military parades usually within the filled foundation of the then under-construction building of CAC Oke-Isegun Headquarters, Akure. You appointed me, ‘Brigadier Kennedy Mambo’ was the next in command to you. You also extended this military fun to propel us to work on our father’s farm in those days by giving your command whenever we wanted to start weeding on farm: ‘Third Marine Commado! Everybody, take position. One, two, three, four….’, and we would all start working fast and hard to achieve our tasks on farm.
You were very protective. The protection you gave me as your sibling, a junior student in the boarding house in Oyemekun Grammar School Akure, where we both had our secondary school education is what I will always remember. You were in Form 4 when I was in Form 1. Despite you living in far-away White House, you shielded me away from those dreadful seniors in Deji House. You prevented me from being part of the early morning hard ‘General Work’ and Operation Feed Nation (OFN)’ by drafting me to be a ‘sweeper’ in charge of the school buttery and dispensary which you were appointed to manage and oversee by the school authority.
In my banking career, you showed your care for me. I will all remember that you were the first family member to show up physical on-spot when as Branch Manager, my branches were attacked and robbed by heavily armed robbers of 1997 and in 1999. In the case of Owo Branch robbery, you stood by me throughout with the police investigations and ‘questionable’ interrogations. While I was under those post-banking life threatening heavy spiritual attacks (ignited by my indirect confrontation of those work-place secret society), from your Ondo town duty point, you were checking on me at home on my sick bed in Akure, almost every day for the over-6-month period of those attacks. On a particular day, you met me in severe pains while lying on a sofa, as the attacks got to the turn of my two knees, swollen with intense terribly smelling body fluid gushing out, you asked God a question that lingers in my brain till today that: ‘Iru adanwo Jobu wo l’eyi, Olorun?’ (Meaning: ‘What kind of (biblical) Job’s affliction is this, God’). I survived those intense spiritual afflictions truly, but painfully it’s unfortunate that you did not survive your’s. God knows the best.
You had a great influence in my coming to live, study and work in the UK. You were a strong backbone in the UK, giving me supports I needed every time, every moment. Due to what happened a decade ago during my doctoral (PhD) study years, I would have suddenly experienced sleeping rough on the street of London homelessly, but you came to my quick rescue and averted the possible catastrophic effects on my doctoral studies. This rescue of your loved brother is a source of disaffection to some till date. Your financial supports for the take-off doctoral studies as well as those moral and ‘family supports’ throughout my studies against all odds, would always on my mind. In 2016, as I was returning hopelessly to the UK after our mother’s burial to round of my thesis submission within the less than 2 months deadline, you turned my hopelessness to hopefulness by allowing my ‘second-coming’ with those great homely care and concern towards my survival within those difficulties and pains of doctoral studies. You and our daddy, Baba Toluwase also joined me in fighting post-thesis submission spiritual wars to the glory of God.
You were my propeller when it comes to attending many CAC programmes, events and anniversaries here in the UK. I appreciated the fact that you understood the reasons behind my reluctance in this regard. You always asked: Will you attend this anniversary or that programme? Don’t worry I will drop you at home after the event’. You always exhorted and encouraged me that one cannot stand afar watching simply because things are not done in the CAC-doctrine ways in many instances here and because of those apparent church-politics within the fold; and that one should still join the force (always making references Baba Toluwase’s exhortation in this regard). Although, we might have differences caused by our opposing schools of church administration and management thoughts/biblical interpretations (as matters of principles and practices); these never played down our close relationship as siblings/brothers. Now, my propeller is broken, and my driving force is gone.
Even up till your last days, on your sick bed in hospital despite what you were going through, you still exhibited your care and affection towards me when you asked me, 12 days to your demise: ‘Iwo naa n ko bayi, ti ori maa n fo nigba gbogbo?’ (Meaning: What about you also, experiencing incessant headache?’). My response to your question was that the headaches were cause work-related stress and that the headache would soon subside as I would soon proceed on leave to take things easy. One further assurance I gave you on this same day as I moved closer to you on bed was that nothing bad would happen to you and that you would not die, given the reason that if such would happen to you as my sibling it would have been revealed to me. I could not tell you before you left this world that the voice I heard around 2am the following morning (11 days to your death) was a voice that sang the first two lines of a common funeral song into my ears on my bed: ‘A o pade l’ese Jesu, nibi ti a ko ni y’ara wa’ (Meaning: We shall meet at Jesus’s feet, where we will not depart from each other’). I woke up sad; but the better and glorious assurance is that we shall meet at Jesus’s feet.
Sleep on my beloved brother, Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ekundayo Mogaji. Sun un re o. A o pade l’ese Jesu.

Broda Tolu, my dearest broda Tolu. I am still in disbelief, I thought we had more time but God understands.
I am eternally grateful to God for having you in my life, you taught and lived a practical, heaven-focused christian life.
Thank you for the genuine love, care and support throughout the years. Holding my hands and spurring me on during the most challenging times. You were a safe space, a critical friend and a guardian.
I will never forget you! The legacy of faith will live on through the many lives you have touched.
Rest on, "Old School!"

TRIBUTE TO A BOSSOM FRIEND/BROTHER.
For over 56 years, you were a pillar of support, confidant and bossom friend and brother. While some of us were filled and thrilled by youthful exuberance all through our primary school at CAC primary school Irowo Akure and secondary school days, you remained cool, calm, gentle and obedient to God, parents and societal norms, even to maturity leading you to be a minister in God's vineyard.
I'm yet to come terms that you are gone, but the reality has dawned on me now. However, my consolation is that we shall meet at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Adieu my friend and brother, ISAAC TOLUWASE EKUNDAYO MOGAJI. REST IN PEACE.

TRIBUTE TO A FALLEN GEM
Across the bridge,
There is no more sorrow,
Across the bridge,
There is no more pain.
The sun will shine,
Across the river, you'll never be unhappy again.
It is with pain and sorrow, but with total submission to the will of the Almighty God, that we write this tribute for our friend, brother, colleague, and classmate: Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ekundayo Mogaji.
Pastor Tolu was our set's chairman (OGSA 1974/79 set) until his passing on that fateful day. He served our association dutifully, passionately, diligently, and purposefully, leaving no stone unturned. He was a loving and caring man, a problem solver, a cheerful giver, and a true man of God. Serving as a pastor with Christ Apostolic Church in London, Tolu's commitment was unwavering.
It is very hard for us to believe that you have left so soon. Your passing leaves a vacuum in our hearts whenever we remember the selfless services you rendered while alive, a void only God can fill.
Tolu, though you are no longer with us, the legacy you left behind and the exemplary life you lived will always linger in our minds. We find solace in the biblical verse that says, "The righteous are taken before the evil days" (Isaiah 57:1-2).
We miss you, and we cannot forget you in a hurry, our worthy chairman. Keep resting in the bosom of the Lord until we meet at His feet to part no more.
Adieu! Adieu!! Adieu!!!

Tribute to Late Pastor Isaac Mogaji
By Titus Ayodele
It is with a deeply heavy heart that I write this tribute to honour Pastor Isaac Mogaji, a man whose life was a shining example of discipline, dedication, and unwavering service to God and humanity.
Pastor Mogaji was not only the immediate past Financial Secretary of Efon Alaaye UK & Europe Association, but also someone I had the privilege of working closely with over the years. His service, from the inception of the association, was nothing short of meritorious. As a Chartered Accountant and a senior colleague in the industry, Pastor Mogaji brought unmatched professionalism and excellence to the management of the association’s funds. His meticulous approach and unwavering integrity were evident in every task he undertook, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and responsibility.
On a personal level, Pastor Mogaji was like a big brother to me. A well-bred indigene of Efon Alaaye, he carried himself with grace, dignity, and an inherent respect for others. His jovial nature was infectious—he always found a way to bring laughter and warmth to every interaction.
He was deeply devoted to the work of God and tireless in his commitment to charity. Pastor Mogaji poured himself into his faith and his service to others, embodying the very essence of love and selflessness. His dedication to the church and his ability to inspire others through his actions spoke volumes about his character and the depth of his heart.
Pastor Mogaji’s life was a beautiful testament to what it means to live with purpose and leave a meaningful impact. Though his passing is a tremendous loss to us all, I find comfort in the knowledge that his legacy will continue to inspire and guide those of us who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest well, Pastor Isaac Mogaji. You will forever be remembered for your kindness, discipline, and the many lives you touched. May God grant you eternal rest and give strength to your family during this difficult time.
With heartfelt condolences,
Titus Ayodele

Tribute
It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our dear friend, Pastor Tolu Mogaji, whose passing has left an indelible void in our lives and the heart of our community, Efon Alaaye UK &Europe Association. His life was a testament to unwavering dedication, selflessness, and love and service for his faith and his hometown of Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State.
It was at the inauguration of the Efon Alaaye UK and Europe Association that I first met the man Pastor Mogaji. After the introduction, I asked him if he was from the same chief, Olu Mogaji, and he replied jokingly o wii re, ,ẹyẹ meji kii j'aṣa.
He was a reticent, easy-going, but deep-thinking man. He wouldn’t say a thing that had not been well thought of and processed.
He was an honest, truthful and dependable man. He was a man not afraid to say what he believed in.
As the financial secretary of the Efon Alaaye UK and Europe Association, the position he held till his last breath, he was an embodiment of uncompromised principle and one of the central pillars that held the Association standing till today.
His Narrowgate project was a testimony to his devotion, his church and his service to humanity.
In this time of loss, we take comfort in knowing that Pastor Mogaji lived a life of purpose marked by love, service, and faith. His memory will live on in the countless lives he has enriched and empowered. Pastor Tolu Mogaji, your spirit will continue to inspire us all to serve our community, honour our faith, and cherish the places we call home.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. May God continue to guide and protect your family and the loved ones you left behind

Dear Pastor Tolu

May your dear soul rest in peace.
You are really missed. Your peaceful and cordial self.

On the 7th of Oct 2024 you sent a text message say apologies to disturb you but I’ll need your help in one of the coming days this week to assist me to get out of the hospital when discharged. Kindly be on standby by or in the alert and please give me a quick call when you have a break or when you have the moment later today. Divine blessings. Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ekudayo Mogaji: A man of Grace and Dignity, dedicated to the service of God and Humanity.
“Even in death, he (his works) speaks.”
Boda Tolu, as I used to call you, a man of principle seasoned in discipline and virtue.
There's everything wrong with the fact that I have to write you a tribute this soon. It is very painful to face the reality that one isn't going to see a sibling again, especially, the very person one shared unforgettable childhood experiences with, but it takes much more pain of no mean intensity to bury the dead.
You struggled alongside with your parents and siblings through the thick and thin of life in order to make it in Life. I believe you could have stayed a little longer to reap the fruits of your sweat. But God knows what He's doing. I believe so too. A man enters the world with a cry, and leaves amidst tears. Yours was no different. Men are born to die. It's been a settled matter since the beginning of time.
I remember those caring moments, both to the young and the old, your burden for the family, your kindness and strength in times of adversity, your characteristic admonitions buttressed in love. The friendship you arrayed gave you access to many.
Growing up with you have been the hardest, yet most incredible thing but I thank God for each and every day. You inspired me every step of the way, to pursue my dreams and work hard to make them a reality. You were always there to keep me away from my fears. Your wish for me and family even while on your sick bed was to relocate and get settled in the United Kingdom.
As your younger brother, I admired your hard-work, sacrifice and labour of love. You were defined at heart, resolute in business and your faith in God never wavered. You were decisive in whatever you set your mind to do and your courage gave strength to many.
God granted you sufficient integrity and intelligence to live your life with uncompromising ethics, elegance, love and dedication towards the betterment of God’s kingdom and humanity.
Dear Brother, Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ekundayo Mogaji, you faded away like the stars of the morning, losing their lights in the glorious sun--Thus you have passed from this earth and its toiling, you will ever be remembered by what you have done and those legacies you have left behind.
You helped people as you passed along, you have cheered the world with words and songs, you have shown many that they're travelling wrong, you have done your duties as Christian ought, and you have shared love's (Gospel) message like the Master Jesus taught. It is obvious that your living was not in vain.
My beloved brother, I miss you so much, but I am comforted knowing that you finished your race well and you are resting in the bosom of your maker, whom you loved and served well. You didn't retreat or surrender, you were a gallant soldier.
Adieu.

EKUNDAYO MOGAJI.
The news of Pastor Isaac Ekundayo Mogaji’s departure to the great beyond came to us as a rude shock and none of your classmates who received the sad news could come to terms with your death, but who are we to query the Almighty God, the giver of life. The Lord that killeth, and maketh alive: 1 Samuel 2 (6).
Tolu’s death left an indelible mark in our mind because of his good character and positive contributions within the association and we say ‘O Death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory’ (1 Corinthians 15 (55) over our beloved Tolu? We can go on and on to express our pains and our grief over this, but can this bring back our colleague? No, not at all, but the assurance that we have is that he is resting in the bosom of the Lord and his good works on earth will speak for him in heaven. Good night, dear friend.
Tolu, was a committed ‘Alumnus of our great School, Oyemekun Grammar School Akure. He was the first and the only Chairman of our set (1974/79 set) till he departed this sinful world, a good leader to the core with enviable records, he led the Association to the 40th Anniversary of our set’s re-union at our great ‘Alma matter’ with a lot of achievements, a man with a big heart, who did not believe that there is a task that is not achievable with determination and the help of God. He was a generous giver and one of the first to contribute to all the programs of our set. Little wonder that he was a Pastor with ‘Christ Apostolic Church GB Headquarters, London. Tolu was one of the youngest and brightest members of our Association with an uncommon zeal for excellence, He was a Chartered Accountant and was admitted as Associate member, Institute of Chartered Accounts in 1991 and became a fellow of the Institute ten years after. He was a member of the ‘Red Cross society’ and also a school prefect in our set.
Tolu, if it were within our powers to halt death, we would have done so for you. Farewell, dear friend. May your pure soul rest in eternal peace.

TRIBUTE TO A FALLEN GEM
Across the Bridge,
there is no sorrow,
Across the Bridge,
There is no more pain,
The sun will shine,
Across the river, you'll never be unhappy again.
It is painful and sorrowful but with total submission to the Almighty
God to be writing this tribute so early for our departed friend, brother and classmate:
Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ekundayo Mogaji.
Pastor Tolu was our set chairman (OGSA 1974/79 set) till death came calling on that fateful day.
He served us dutifully, passionately, diligently and purposefully without leaving any stone unturned.
He was a loving and caring man, a problem solver, a cheerful giver and a man of God to the core!
He sacrificed everything to unite and make us a happy family born of different parents for over forty years! We are friends from our youths.
It is so hard to believe that you are gone so soon.
Your passing leaves a vacuum in our hearts that only God can fill for us.
Tolu, though you are no more with us but the legacy you left behind and exemplary life you lived, lives on.
We are short of words to express the pain we are feeling right now but we find solace in this biblical verse " The righteous are taken before the evil days"(Isaiah 57:1-2).
We miss you and you will always be, our able chairman.
Keep resting in the blossom of the Lord until we meet at The Lord’s feet, to part no more.

THE PASSING OF A GENIAL CLERGYMAN - PASTOR ISAAC TOLUWASE EKUNDAY MOGAJI OUR BROTHER
Times like this when we mourn our loved ones demand a sober reflection on life. We ask many questions about life, we try to rationalize what should have been done to make things different. But we should all be consoled in the Lord Almighty that our late brother is now resting with his maker.
Life appears to offer so much but like the Psalmist says all is vanity. This is the road mankind must walk through. So we continue to live and remember the good memories our brother shared with us and be glad that we once had him with us. We further look up to seeing him again at the resurrection when we all meet to unite with the saints forever. This should continue to strengthen and give us all hope that we will still see him again. May his gentle soul continue to rest with God in Jesus name. Amen.
Tolu, you translated from this world when we least expected and left us heart broken. The pain of your transition is very strong, but we are consoled by our faith in God whom you served faithfully and who has called you home.
We thank God for the life you lived, for your love of family, love of neighbours and your willingness to always to the best of your ability, help those in need.
Heaven is our home. Our life here on earth is a journey to our heavenly homeland. Our beloved brother, you lived your life, you served well and left. Forever, you will be remembered for all you have done.
We miss you so much!!
Goodbye for now, rest on, our precious brother.
We will meet again to part no more.

It’s no wonder he was a Pastor with Christ Apostolic Church GB Headquarters, London.
Tolu was one of the youngest and brightest members of our Association with an uncommon zeal for excellence. He was a Chartered Accountant, admitted as an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1991, and became a Fellow of the Institute ten years later. He was also a member of the Red Cross Society and served as a school prefect in our set.
Tolu, if it were within our power to halt death, we would have done so for you. Farewell, dear friend. May your pure soul rest in eternal peace.

SUDDENLY,THE SKY TURNS BLACK.
My dear brother, friend and pastor, TOLUWASE MOGAJI, I still can't you're gone. It is so sudden and unexpected. Things have not been the same amongst your mates, the 1974/79 set of OGSA.
Your humility and sense of direction will forever be remembered. I feel so bless yo have called you my good friend because of the time we spent together during our secondary school days.
I will always be grateful and thank God for the precious time we spent together as classmates housemates and roommates in Oyemekun Grammar school . I still believe in the holy book that "it is God that giveth; it is He who taketh, Glory be to God"
You came, you fought, you won and you conquered.
Sleep on my dear friend and pastor ISAAC TOLUWASE EKUNDAYO MOGAJI (ITEM) until resurrection day when we shall meet and part no more.

"The life giving us by nature is short, but the memory of a life well spent is eternal" - Cicero. Tolu, it is very difficult for me that I am writing your tribute. Your death broke me down because it was unexpected. Your life was impactive and worthy of emulation. A soldier of Christ, gentle as a dove, diligent in his endeavours, loving, caring, responsible, kind, honest, competent and very understanding. Though you are my first cousin, you were a good person and a true brother. I remember how I met you first at Akure in 1980 when I came to live with your parents , Pastor and Mrs. M. D. Mogaji. You never discriminated against me, rather you gave me a hand of fellowship and supported me throughout. You played a major role in my admission into Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, where I successfully completed my secondary school education. Though you were years ahead of me, you treated me with love, kindness and respect. You also stood by me during my wedding in 1996. You played the role of a dedicated and concerned brother. Your character and your responses to issues combined with other lessons I learned from Pastor M.D. Mogaji's family had shapen my life to eventually draw close to Christ. I will forever remember you and your good deeds. " Sun re o Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ekundayo Mogaji." Till we meet to part no more. Adieu!
I am still in shock. When I launched my Foundation (supporting women fleeing from domestic abuse) in 2023, I invited you to talk about your marriage, challenges you have faced and words of encouragement to the young people thinking of getting married. Your presentation was based on the truth and on the bedrock of Christ. I last saw you in September 2023 during Oyemekun students association. It was your turn to host us and I was with you in the sitting room listening to music while your lovely wife and other students wives were in the kitchen cooking . Never knew it would be the last time I would see you. You were such an embodiment of humility, gentle like, Christ personified. I have no doubt that you are resting at the feet of Jesus where one day, we will meet to part no more. Rest in peace God's soldier.
It is with total submission to the supreme will of God in His all mighty. That I commiserate with the entire dynasty of our highly revered father, Pastor Mathew Dada Mogaji, regarding the home call of Uncle Isaac Toluwase Mogaji, Whose departure to the other side of the divide took place on Wednesday 23rd October, 2024.
I pray for his immediate family, M.D. Mogaji Dynasty, the church of God, Efon-Alaaye sons and daughters in UK/EUROPE that may we all know and serve Him to the best of our capacity (as uncle ITEM) did.
Rest on and rest very well sir.

Rest on and rest very well sir.
From a very young age, Tolu had had a large heart and a great ability to be calm under pressure. We will miss this great organiser who gets things done with quiet and ruthless efficiency. These attributes were quickly noticed by God in calling him. R. I. P. my dear friend.
My Boss and Mentor turned Brother-in-Love of Inestimable Value.
The 'genius' of his time! Known for standing by the truth no matter what. You were embodiment of doggedness and dedication, determination was your watchword. You were Integrity and Professionalism in human flesh. It is certain that the Accounting World has just lost one of her generals!
You fought, won, conquered and have laid down your sword resting at Jesus' feet.
That you would be missed is an understatement but we have solace that you are with Christ. You will forever be remembered!
Sleep on Soldier of Christ.

TRIBUTE TO MY VERY DEAR FRIEND AND BROTHER, PASTOR ISAAC TOLUWASE EKUNDAYO MOGAJI ( ITEM)
As I write this tribute , I find myself grappling with a profound sense of loss that words can scarcely convey. It feels just like yesterday when we met in The Polytechnic Owo, Ondo state Nigeria back in 1980, two young souls embarking on a journey of discovery and friendship. Little did I know then that you would become such an integral part of my life, a brother in spirit and a steadfast companion through the ebbs and flows of life.
Your unwavering faith and commitment to your Christian values were a guiding light for all who knew you. You lived your life with grace, kindness, and a generousity of spirit that inspired those around you. You taught us the importance of love, compassion, and community, reminding us that we are all part of something greater than ourselves.
Your laughter, your wisdom, and your unwavering support will forever echo in my heart. I remember the countless deep conversations we shared, the dreams we dared to chase, and the challenges we bravely faced together. Your ability to uplift others, even in your own struggles, is a testament to your remarkable strength and character.
Now, as I reflect on the legacy you left behind, I am reminded of your soulmate and ever supporting wife, Foluke and your children, Mathew, Mark ,Luke and John. It is my fervent hope that they inherit your courage, your compassion, and your unwavering faith. You have raised them to be kind, strong, and loving, and I know they will carry your spirit with them as they navigate their own paths in this world.
While I am devastated by your passing on October 23, 2024, I take solace in the memories we created and the love we shared. You will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I promise to honour your memory by living a life that reflects the values you embodied.
Rest in peace, my very dear friend and brother. Though you may be gone from our sight, you will never be forgotten. Your spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those you touched. I will carry your love with me always. Rest in love and peace Tolu, till we meet to part no more.

**Tribute to Our Irreplaceable Brother and Friend, Pastor Tolu Mogaji**
It is difficult to express the shock and confusion we have felt since hearing of the passing of our beloved brother and friend, Pastor Tolu Mogaji.
Pastor Tolu was a foundational member of our fellowship and stood alongside our Pastor, his elder brother, Femi Mogaji, playing key roles in church celebrations, workshops, and annual weekend retreats. The CAC – East of Luton assembly has been blessed countless times over the years by Pastor Tolu’s faithful ministry.
We want to highlight just a few of his many contributions to the life of our church. His tireless energy and considerable organizational skills were invaluable in ensuring the success of our annual weekend retreats. Pastor Tolu participated in various programs, leading lectures and workshops, skilfully communicating Biblical truths clearly and practically. His messages were always delivered with humility, a gentle smile, and love, which we will miss dearly.
Pastor Tolu was also a lover of spiritual songs and hymns. He took a keen interest in their performance, often critiquing the worthiness of the songs presented in worship unto the Lord.
It is still hard to accept that he will no longer be working with us in this blessed vineyard of our glorious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We extend our deepest sympathies, particularly to his immediate family—his lovely wife, Foluke, and their four wonderful sons—as well as to the extended Mogaji family, Narrow Gate Fellowship, and all those who feel the void left by Pastor Tolu’s passing. We pray that the God of unsearchable wisdom and comfort will uphold and strengthen them during this difficult time, empowering them to continue their journey of life for the glory of God and His eternal praise.
In our grief, we take comfort in remembering his work and friendship with us, which was marked by sincerity, kindness, and a warm smile.
Isaiah 57:1-2:[i] “The righteous perishes, and no man takes it to heart; merciful men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken from evil. He shall enter into peace…”
Rest in peace and farewell, our dear brother.

A TRIBUTE TO PASTOR ISAAC TOLU MOGAJI
Tolu Mogaji a friend of mine We grew up learning academically and spiritually right away from saint James’ CAC primary School and saint James’ Christ Apostolic Church Oke-isegun, Irowo, Akure, Ondo State Nigeria, I can boldly say, we are a product of CAC Oke-isegun, Akure.
In the primary school, we are together under the auspices of Pastor MD, Mogaji his father, Pastor Olowola and Pastor Joseph Oluwamakin to mention few,
During this period, Tolu was a complete gentle boy, who never misbehaved nor make trouble at all, besides he was brilliant. Due to this, I prefer to build my tent closer to him among our peers without knowing that both of us will be a Pastor in future, He is a type of person that live a complete simple life that is worthy of emulation. His death is sudden, but glory be to God our maker who knows the best time for man to check out from this world. May God keep and make great the family you left behind.

My Dearest Uncle Tolu,
It was shocking to hear about your departure though painful but I take solace in the truth that you did not die but have slept and transitioned into glory and we will see again! What a joy this gives me. We may not have spoken in a long while but I am grateful that you were a role model to my siblings and I back home in Ibadan. You were loving, gentle and accommodating. I was once young, now I am old. I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed beg for bread. The Lord whom you have served with the whole of your heart will be a shield around your wife , children and all of us continuing in the Master’s will.. You will be forever loved and remembered. Your Aburo, Oluwatimilehin Mogaji & Family.

Tribute To The Remarkable Life of Pastor Isaac Toluwase EKUNDAYO Mogaji: Short but meaningful
In a world where greatness is usually measured by human impact, influence, and greatness, Tolu stood out as an extraordinary person whose life was a testament to the power of selflessness, dedication, service, and greatness.
Dear Tolu, Your departure is a colossal loss to our family (THE MOGAJI DYNASTY), Christ Apostolic Church, and everyone who had the privilege of meeting you while you were on this terrestrial shore. However, your memory will linger in time as undoubtedly a man of substance and virtues, with a pure heart filled with love for God and mankind. You were simply remarkable and unforgettable.
From an early age, you displayed a remarkable sense of responsibility and a deep desire to make a difference among your peers, and you shone like a million stars. You had a very clear sense of direction and unwavering determination to be an astute leader. Through the grace of God, you acquired the keys required to unlock the doors of great opportunities and influence. Your impact in every community where you were remains indelible.
My relationship with you began in the late 60s at Christ Apostolic Church Agbokojo Ibadan, Nigeria where I was a member of the Choir and a children's teacher while you were in the children's church. This was long before I met and got married to your eldest sister, Christie. You later served as a choir member under my leadership as Music Director for decades, you were the pioneer Choirmaster for CAC Anosike Region (Europe) and also the Choirmaster for the Anosike Pastors Choir till your demise.
No doubt, you inspired a generation of music ministers who are now making positive impacts across the globe. Your unwavering commitment to quality and standard is unparalleled. You were a philanthropist who was always ready to spend and be spent for any cause in which you believed, especially in the house of the Lord. Your unwavering dedication to serving humanity through your pet project, the Narrow-gate ministry is a clear testament to this, from providing financial assistance to families and others, to supporting educational initiatives, you made a significant impact on the lives of many.
You were a pacesetter of high repute, a profound musician, a truthful finance manager, a noble achiever, a dependable family man, and a true minister of God. You were a man of high integrity, humble but bold, diligent, reasonable, pragmatic, and ready to serve in any capacity as long as it glorified the Lord. Tolu, I am glad that you served the Lord to the very end and died at your post. Your life will remain an inspiration to many.
It was quite difficult for me to write this tribute but I had to do it anyway not only because of the value you added to people and the family, but also because I know that it will encourage many. We honor God for your highly remarkable life full of grace, compassion, resilience, and service. I wipe my tears, lift my chin, hold my shoulders high, and take comfort in the fulfilled life you lived.
Sleep on, my darling Tolu, my dear brother beyond an in-law.

TRIBUTE TO PASTOR TOLU MOGAJI
Pastor Tolu, you suddenly left the scene when your loved ones were still acting and playing their roles with you, in life and in the kingdom service of Christ our Redeemer.
I was your Pastor in C.A.C Mount of East, 83, Lagos Street, Ebute-Meta, Lagos State, as a Church member then, you were easy going, yet you knew how to express your thoughts/opinions on matters.
Some years after, you told me that you were relocating to the United Kingdom with your family. When I visited the United Kingdom, thereafter and called you to ask where you were worshipping, you told me that it was a Church near your abode. I told you that we had started Christ Apostolic Church Vineyard of Mercy in the UK, after Pastoring CAC Ebute-Meta for years, and you were so happy, and immediately came to join CAC Vineyard of Mercy, UK. Years passed and you moved to outside of London, where you started a branch of Christ Apostolic Church.
You were a man of principles and you were very respectful to both younger and older people. You were a family man and a very dedicated Christian. In your duties as a husband, Pastor, Choir leader/member, father, brother, friend and employee, to people at various stages in life, I saw in you; love, understanding, celebration, peacefulness and passion for good things.
I called you 'Baba Gospel' because you named your four sons, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Your passage was a shock. I miss you, but I will surely see you again on the resurrection morning.
Bye for a while, my beloved Pastor Tee.
Pastor Anu Ojo,
Your Pastor and brother from Efon Alaaye (Little London, as we joked about it)
Pastor Tolu, you suddenly left the scene when your loved ones were still acting and playing their roles with you, in life and in the kingdom service of Christ our Redeemer.
Pastor Anu Ojo,
Your Pastor and brother from Efon Alaaye (Little London, as we joked about it)
TRIBUTE TO A DEAR BROTHER, PASTOR ISAAC TOLUWASE EKUNDAYO MOGAJI (ITEM)
“The greatest tragedy in life is not death but a life without purpose” Rick Warren.
Dear brother, your sudden departure was devastating, rude and shocking. The news of your death on 23/10/2024 hit me so hard and it was so difficult for me to process and come to terms with the reality that you are no longer with us in the Mogaji Dynasty.
On your sick bed, we were hoping and believing that a miracle would happen, and you would be discharged back home. I desire that you recover from sickness and continue with your meaningful and impactful contribution to the Church of God, your family, community and society. I never knew your Maker and Redeemer was calling you back home to take your deserved rest. The Lord did the best He preferred for you, as He controls all affairs.
Dear brother, you fought a good fight to the last day and I know you are in a better place. During my visit with your bro Olu on 20/10/2024, the last word I heard from you was Hallelujah, based on our custom after prayer, not knowing that you are preparing to shout Hallelujah with the heavenly host.
Despite your departure, I will hold on to your legacy of living for God and His word, selfless life, willingness to be a helping hand to whosoever comes across you, and your principle of standing for the truth and walking in the NARROW WAY.
Dear ITEM, though you are no longer with us on this side of the planet, I am grateful to God for your meaningful, purposeful and impactful life during your short time.
Rest on the bosom of your Saviour and Redeemer our beloved brother till we meet to sing Hallelujah in Heaven.

Writing this tribute comes with mixed feelings and emotions. The news of your transition was a shock wave to me and the body of Christ. Pastor Tolu was the Anosike Region Minister’s choir master , in which I am a member. Your gentle but firm leadership during rehearsals, persuasive words even when we having challenges with special renditions or going over our scheduled finishing time, what about the Tom Tom sweet to put smile on our faces will be greatly missed. You are indeed a rare gem. May the Lord fill up the vacuum left in biological and spiritual families in Jesus name. Aden my Oga. Till we meet again Sleep on Pastor Tolu Mogaji.
It is sadness and heavy heart that I heard about the departed of our beloved Pastor Tolu Mogaji. It is hard to believe. Pastor Tolu Mogaji was a dedicated and devoted man of God. He diligently served God and refused to compromised his faith. He sacrificed his time, resources and energy for propagating the gospel. He stood upon the pedestal of humility I know his crown will be awaiting him in heaven. My condolences go to his family. May the Lord fill the vacuum his departure creates in the family. Sleep on Pastor Tolu till we meet again at feet of Chist.
My lovely pastor,a nice man, gentle person, who make himself available for the work of God and his community, thy Lord will be with his family in Jesus name Amen.

Tribute to Pastor Tolu Mogaji
As I honor the memory of Pastor Tolu Mogaji, I see him as a father figure and a cherished confidant. From the very first moment I met him, I noticed his genuine desire to make everyone feel comfortable in his presence. He was a true ambassador of Christ, embodying the love and grace that we all aspire to reflect.
Pastor Tolu was not only a spiritual leader but also my music mentor. As the Choirmaster of the CAC Europe Central Choir in London, now known as the Anosike Regional Choir, he guided and inspired countless individuals through the power of music. His role as our Choir Coordinator at CAC LDCC was marked by his unique talent as a composer, arranger, and lyricist. I fondly remember the collaborative efforts we undertook during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we worked together to produce audio recordings of some CAC hymns, creating lyric videos that still stand as a testament to his dedication and creativity. Remarkably, he sang all the harmonies—soprano, alto, tenor, and bass—in most of those productions, showcasing his extraordinary musical gifts. Those recordings continue to resonate with us and are a testament to his dedication and creativity.
In every aspect of his life, Pastor Tolu exemplified what it means to be an ambassador of God’s kingdom. He was always focused on ensuring that we aimed for heaven while encouraging our spiritual growth and success in life. I will forever be grateful for the kindness he showed me during a pivotal moment in my life. When I was preparing for marriage, Pastor Tolu single-handedly invited my fiancée and me to a private banquet where we engaged in meaningful discussions about marriage and life. His guidance was invaluable, and his support—along with that of CAC Narrow Gate—during my single days, my wedding, and beyond was a true blessing.
There is so much more I could say about this remarkable man. I recall our last conversation before I received the news of his passing. He expressed his concern about how, in today’s world, many worship God with mere lip service. He lamented that people often make themselves available only for major events, while neglecting the local gatherings where their dedication is truly needed. He prayed fervently that those of us committed to giving our best to God would be rewarded for our faithfulness.
I will deeply miss this great man of God—his powerful preaching style, the personal conversations we shared, and his passion for music. While we feel a profound loss here on earth, I take solace in the belief that heaven has gained a shining light.
Until the resurrection morning, may you continue to rest in peace, Pastor Tolu Mogaji. Your legacy will forever live on in our hearts and in the lives you touched.

TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED BROTHER PASTOR ISAAC TOLÚWÁṢE MỌ́GÀJÍ (of blessed memory)
I find it difficult to believe that I will write another tribute so soon at my brother's death after the one written a year ago on his 60th birthday. Humm, It's now a reality that my beloved brother, Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ẹkúndayọ̀ Mogaji has truly gone to join the Church Triumphant for eternally rest in the bosom of the Lord.
I cherished and have my consolation in your tenacity towards God and Eternal Life which propelled your Narrow Gate Project where you hammered nothing but the messages of Christ as the only way through the "narrow gate" which leads to the Kingdom of God. Those messages and your personal discussions with me about your concern for the "State of the Church," Body of Christ will forever be remembered and worked upon.
Your coming to the world was indeed brief, glad you clearly saw beyond the terrestrial into the celestial and you conquer death Triumphantly.
We are truly painned by your departure from the earth in a time like this, though not as ignorants, because we have the assurance of another joyful meeting with you together with the saints who have gone before.
I pray the Lord fill the vacuum for us and keep all of us remaining to be steadfast in "The Way" so that we will not be ashamed of our hope for eternal life.
Sleep on Bro Tolu! Farewell my beloved brother! Good night Pastor Isaac!!!

Pastor Tolu Mogaji was a humble man and an energetic pursuer of his mission. He was our Secretary at the former Anosike Planning Committee and with the Property and Investment Committee until his call to glory. Pastor Tolu was a constant encourager who played his role fully without any expectation for human appreciation or recognition. His broad smile was always a mark of assurance that things would work even when hopes appeared to be failing. May his legacy remain evergreen. I pray the good Lord will comfort, protect and keep his family strong now and beyond this time in Jesus’ name.
Tribute to My Loving Brother, Pastor Isaac Toluwase Ekundayo Mogaji
I’ve reached the land of joy divine,
And all its beauty now is mine.
Here shines undimmed one blissful day,
For all my pain has passed away.
Oh, Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land!
As on the highest mount I stand,
I look away across the sea,
Where mansions are prepared for me.
I view the shining glory shore,
My heaven, my home forevermore.
The strife is over, the battle is done,
The victory of life has been won.
The song of triumph has begun!
Yes, the songs of triumph have begun with Brother Tolu.
Oh men, where is thy glory?
Today, you shine like the morning star, but tomorrow you are no more.
Oh men, where is thy glory?
It is said that “Men live like they never lived.” This is true, but in every generation, there are a few good men who leave a permanent mark on the hearts of others. Not only will history echo their legacy, but generations yet unborn will be reminded of their valour.
Brother Tolu,
Your passing was a rude shock, a devastating blow that left a great vacuum in our family. Words can not fully express the pain in our hearts because your death was the least expected at this time.
You were a model, a teacher, a preacher of the Word, and a help to all who crossed your path. Your sincerity of purpose, honour, courage in breaking new ground, and your high sense of dedication were unparalleled.
You were transparent, honest, selfless, and deeply devoted to your family, community, and the kingdom of God. You were a fountain of help and inspiration, a generous and considerate soul who uplifted everyone around you.
The role you played in my life, from my younger days until now, will never be forgotten. Your words of encouragement, your unfeigned love, and your tireless support for our progress will linger in our hearts forever.
Indeed, you have gone to rest in the arms of your Creator, whom you served so faithfully. Your legacy, which has touched countless lives positively, will forever remain alive in our hearts.
Brother Tolu, we are eternally grateful for the life you lived. You have left an indelible mark, and though our hearts are heavy, we find solace in knowing you are resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rest on, dear Brother, till we meet again to part no more.

Pastor Tolu was a diligent, upright, heaven focused man of God. Throughout your work in Anosike, it was difficult to see myself in a group that you are not also present. You were once the Secretary of the Anosike planning Committee, where I was the Chair, you became the Leader of the Property and Investment committe, and I am a member, we both belong to the Evangelical Management team, and you were also a member of the Community Project team that I lead. You have shown others an exemplary way of living. Through the Project committe, I secured some funding when you had your church in London Borough of Tower Hamlets, due to members request you moved your church out of Tower Hamlets. Rather than sit on the £5,000 allocated for the project, you returned the money fully! Your action enhanced my integrity. Thank you. Sleep on beloved, till we meet at the bossom of Jesus.
Pastor Isaac Tolu Mogaji was an energetic, involved member of the Anosike Evangelical team. He was our diligent account holder, our link to the Choir department, as well as a forthright member of the Management team. We are convinced that his good works will speak after him continually. May the Lord console the Church and uphold the family.

A Tribute to Pastor Isaac Tolu Mogaji
I write this tribute with a heart filled with profound sadness yet immense gratitude for the extraordinary life of my dear uncle, Pastor Isaac Tolu Mogaji—lovingly known to us all as Uncle Tolu.
Uncle Tolu was not just an uncle to me; he was a father, a mentor, and a selfless example of what it means to serve God with everything you have. During my MSc days in the UK, Uncle Tolu became my rock, my guide, and my unwavering support system. He took me in with open arms, ensuring I was well cared for both physically and spiritually. He created an atmosphere where I felt loved, encouraged, and inspired to pursue God and my dreams.
I’ll never forget how he went out of his way to sponsor me to attend the CAC Central Choir rehearsals in London, all the way from my university in Hatfield. It wasn’t just about the financial sacrifice—though that alone spoke volumes—it was the way he believed in me, encouraged my passion for music, and ensured I could remain connected to the ministry that meant so much to me. Week after week, he made it possible for me to be a part of something bigger, instilling in me the values of dedication and excellence in serving God.
That period also coincided with the birth of CAC Narrow Gate Assemblies in London, a vision Uncle Tolu carried in his heart with an unshakable passion. I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand how he gave his all—his time, his resources, and his heart—to ensure the church not only stood but flourished. He poured himself into the work of God, laboring tirelessly to establish a house of worship where people could encounter the Lord and grow in faith. Uncle Tolu’s commitment to the ministry was nothing short of inspiring. He exemplified what it means to give sacrificially, to serve selflessly, and to trust God completely.
Known as “The Narrow Way Preacher,” Uncle Tolu was a man who not only proclaimed the truth but lived it. His message was clear, unwavering, and deeply rooted in the Word of God. He was uncompromising in his call for holiness and devotion, yet he carried a heart so full of love that it drew people closer to God. His life was the perfect blend of conviction and compassion—a testament to what it truly means to walk the narrow way.
But perhaps one of the most beautiful ways he served God was through his love for music. Uncle Tolu was not just a choir master; he was a father to the choir. He invested his time, his resources, and his heart into the music ministry, ensuring that the choir was not only excellent in performance but deeply connected to the heart of worship. He supported choir members financially, encouraged them when they were down, and led them with the kind of passion that only comes from a deep love for God.
I can still see him now—his face radiant, his hands lifted, his voice leading a room full of worshipers into God’s presence. Music was his way of connecting with heaven, and he taught everyone around him to approach worship with the same reverence and joy.
Uncle Tolu, your life was a masterclass in faith, sacrifice, and love. You taught me, not just through your words but through your actions, what it means to serve God with everything you have. You gave without holding back, you loved without limits, and you lived every day with the sole purpose of glorifying God.
As I reflect on your life, my heart aches at the thought of no longer having you here. But I take comfort in knowing that you are now with the One you loved so deeply, worshiping in the heavenly choir. I imagine you there, singing with all your heart, just as you always did here on earth.
Thank you, Uncle Tolu, for being a father to me, for showing me the beauty of serving God, and for living a life that inspires me to walk the narrow way. You fought the good fight, you finished the race, and you kept the faith. Rest well in the arms of your Savior. Your legacy will forever remain in my heart.

My twin brother. I'm still in shock that we won't be ministering duets together until the coming of the LORD.
You were a very gentle brother that lived a life that is worth emulating. Your energy towards the things of GOD are exceptional. I was actually looking forward to a ministration next Easter but GOD who disposes whatever we propose knew best to call you back home this early.
I will never forget the last time we met at the Minister's Choir rehearsal. I never knew that was going to be our last hug, I would have held you tighter. I know you are in a better place resting peacefully in your Maker's bossom. I'll continue in the work we know best to do together.
Rest on till the ressurection day my beloved, darling, precious twin brova.
Good night till we meet and part no more.

Dedicated man of God and a very pleasant minister of God, God's general and our music directors. You will be greatly missed sir. Heaven has gained a angel, We love you but God loves you most Pastor. Sleep well till we meet again.
Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed friends and family,
In a spirit of love and remembrance we celebrate the life of an extraordinary man—our beloved choir master, C.A.C. Anosike Region and Ministers. It is difficult to put into words the profound impact he had on each of us, both as our guide in music and as a shining example of faith and compassion.
As I contemplate within me, I can't help but reflect on our last meeting at the ministers' conference in Derby in July 2024. It was there, amid the inspiring discussions and uplifting fellowship, that his spirit shone the brightest. I can still see his great smiles lighting the hall, feel the spiritual energy of his presence, and witness the joy he brought to all those around him.
Pastor Tolu possessed a unique gift for uniting us through music. He had an uncanny ability to evoke inspirational worship with every note, weaving his passion for worship into each ministration. Under his leadership, our choir not only grew in skill but also in spirit. He taught us that music is not merely an art form; it is a language of the soul and a powerful expression of our love for God.
His kindness extended beyond the choir. He was a mentor, a friend, and a pillar of support for many. He listened without judgment, offered wise advice, and knew when to share a comforting word or a hearty laugh. His love for his community and his commitment to the church exemplified the very essence of what it means to serve others.
As we remember him, let us honor his legacy by carrying forward the love he had for music, for God, and for each one of us. In our hearts, let us keep the lessons he imparted—patience, dedication, and the importance of lifting one another in harmony.
Though we mourn Pastor Tolu's passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful melodies he created, both in music and in our lives. He may no longer physically be with us, but his spirit will forever resonate through the songs we sing and the love we share.
Thank you, Pastor Tolu, for the countless ways you enriched our lives. You will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
You are a big gain to Heaven.

Pastor am I really going to missing you more you have all part to be wonderful loving in my life
Pastor Tolu Mogaji's demise came to me as a rude shock, but I thank God for the life well spent. It's not how far or long but how well. I met Pastor or daddy I normally called him when I joined C.A.C Europe central choir in 2015,he was the choir master then. Pastor developed a special interests in me when he noticed my attendance at our weekly rehearsal on every Tuesdays then and I won't miss out on any programs or events even with my ill health except for work. Since I became sick in the year 2017 till his demise,he has been so kind to me, he's always ready to help,he always wants me to be closer to his family for proper care due to my ill health, but the fact that I didn't want to place an extra burden on him and the church kept driving me back. He picked me up or sent someone to do that at every Christmas because he wouldn't like me to be alone at home . His generosity, humility and kindness,I can not comprehend. Because of him, a family in the church took the burden of my rent upon themselves for good three months when I was about to be homeless then I couldn't work again.Hmmn, I have so much to say about Pastor/daddy . When my daughter came in from Naija and couldn't get work, pastor offered her an accommodation in his home so she could find work in that area but my daughter was too shy to accept the offer. Pastor always says to me sister, don't worry, your day of thanksgiving shall be a day of double celebrations but our unchallengeable God took him away before the time. Pastor Tolu Mogaji, you will be missed . My condolences to the family and the church of God. Till the resurrection morning when we shall meet to part no more, keep resting in the bosom of your Creator and Saviour.

During the short time I knew pastor Tolu, he was indeed a pleasant soul. His gentle spirit and perseverance are incredible. Yes, we had one or two glitches, but in life, we will not always agree on everything. I pray God consoles all the loved ones he left behind, I will truly miss him, especially the fact that he was a classical music mentor I look up to. I pray we will see again at the marriage supper and sing hallelujah together! Shalom!
