Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed friends and family,
In a spirit of love and remembrance we celebrate the life of an extraordinary manโour beloved choir master, C.A.C. Anosike Region and Ministers. It is difficult to put into words the profound impact he had on each of us, both as our guide in music and as a shining example of faith and compassion.
As I contemplate within me, I can't help but reflect on our last meeting at the ministers' conference in Derby in July 2024. It was there, amid the inspiring discussions and uplifting fellowship, that his spirit shone the brightest. I can still see his great smiles lighting the hall, feel the spiritual energy of his presence, and witness the joy he brought to all those around him.
Pastor Tolu possessed a unique gift for uniting us through music. He had an uncanny ability to evoke inspirational worship with every note, weaving his passion for worship into each ministration. Under his leadership, our choir not only grew in skill but also in spirit. He taught us that music is not merely an art form; it is a language of the soul and a powerful expression of our love for God.
His kindness extended beyond the choir. He was a mentor, a friend, and a pillar of support for many. He listened without judgment, offered wise advice, and knew when to share a comforting word or a hearty laugh. His love for his community and his commitment to the church exemplified the very essence of what it means to serve others.
