For many years, he not only established but also passionately led the central choir, showcasing his unwavering commitment to music, particularly within the realm of Christian worship.
His fervour for music led him to collaborate with a wide array of talented musicians and vocalists. Pastor Tolu even took the remarkable initiative to engage with the BBC, successfully orchestrating the central choir's participation in several esteemed Songs of Praise programs. His vision was to have these uplifting programs recorded within a CAC church setting, yet he faced a setback due to the absence of an organ in our church.
This challenge ignited a spark of inspiration within him, ultimately leading him to generously donate an organ to the church in celebration of his 60th birthday—a testament to his dedication and love for the community.
Even after gracefully passing the leadership baton to the current choir leader, Pastor Tolu's passion for both music and people ensured that he remained a vital part of the central choir. His exceptional organizational skills were unmatched, and he embodied the ideals of hard work, family devotion, and outstanding leadership.
