Your death broke me down because it was unexpected. Your life was impactive and worthy of emulation. A soldier of Christ, gentle as a dove, diligent in his endeavours, loving, caring, responsible, kind, honest, competent and very understanding. Though you are my first cousin, you were a good person and a true brother. I remember how I met you first at Akure in 1980 when I came to live with your parents , Pastor and Mrs. M. D. Mogaji. You never discriminated against me, rather you gave me a hand of fellowship and supported me throughout. You played a major role in my admission into Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, where I successfully completed my secondary school education. Though you were years ahead of me, you treated me with love, kindness and respect. You also stood by me during my wedding in 1996. You played the role of a dedicated and concerned brother. Your character and your responses to issues combined with other lessons I learned from Pastor M.D. Mogaji's family had shapen my life to eventually draw close to Christ.
